The University baseball team picked up three run-rule wins last weekend.
On Friday, April 24, the Trailblazers beat Seton Catholic 14-3. University led 13-0 after two innings. Ryan Castetter hit a home run, with Cooper Cammack and Quinn Green both getting two hits. Parker Jacobs, Cammack, David Gasper and Finn Steiner all hit one double. Hunter Canning threw four strikeouts in two innings for the win.
University began Saturday, April 25 with a 23-1 win over Liberty Christian. Castetter was 3-for-3, scoring four runs. Beckett Suh hit two doubles and drove in three runs. Braxton Sparks hit a triple. Jonah Stinson tossed four strikeouts in 3.2 innings for the win.
The Blazers finished the day with a 21-1 victory over Anderson Prep Academy. Steiner hit an inside-the-park home run and totaled four RBIs. Suh was 3-for-3, including a double. Suh, Cammack, Steiner and Parker Jacobs all scored three runs. Quinn Crawley struck out six in two innings for the win.
The Saturday victories clinched the Pioneer Conference North division for University. The Blazers will host Park Tudor the conference championship on May 12. University is 11-5 and hosts Lapel this evening.

Hamilton Southeastern scored two big home wins on Saturday, April 25.
First, the Royals beat Lapel 16-1 in five innings. Kian Kelly hit a triple, while Clark Bucher hit a double. Nick Bach drove in three runs and scored three runs, while Bucher and Conrad Owens also scored three runs.
Chase Bradle pitched all five innings, striking out seven and allowing one hit.
Southeastern beat Twin Lakes 11-4 in its second game. Owens and Jackson Bixler both hit one double. Bixler, Bucher, O’Steen and Cy Cole all got two hits.
Dylan Cope struck out four in five innings for the win.
Southeastern is 11-4 and travels to Fishers on Thursday to begin the Mudsock series.
