Ronald Gentry, 77, Sheridan, passed away on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel.
Ron was born on Sep. 20, 1944, in Noblesville, a son of the late Bob Gentry and Betty Denim. He was married to the love of his life, Judy Lutz, for 52 years. She preceded him in death on Aug. 16, 2014.
Ron worked in the cleaning room at the Ford car plant. He loved watching NASCAR, along with spending time in his pole barn.
Survivors include his daughters, Kimberly Gentry and Stacy Roemer, and grandchildren, Halie Cope (Steven Maddox-Batz), Cody Cope, Travis Gentry, Josh Needler, Nathan Long, and Jeanna Long.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ron was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Gentry, and siblings, Kaye Gentry, Bob Gentry, and Pam Hobbs.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at the American Legion Lebanon Post 113, 1020 Hendricks Drive, Lebanon.
