Numerous local players compete in Indiana PGA Women’s Open tourney

Several Hamilton County players are competing in the Indiana PGA Women’s Open championship, taking place this week at Orchard Ridge in Fort Wayne.

The tournament began Wednesday with the first round. Fishers’ Janelle Garcia is the top Hamilton County golfer so far with 74, tying her for sixth place. Garcia made four birdies in her round. Carmel’s Sydney Longstreth is tied for eighth place with 75, making two birdies.

The tournament concludes today. Here is a list of players with Hamilton County ties.
