On Wednesday, July 1, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) named Lindsay Gramlich’s campaign for Indiana House District 39 as one of the Top Ten Races for July.
The DLCC is the official Democratic Party committee charged with identifying the best opportunities to build Democratic power in state legislatures, and their Top Ten program features 10 of the most competitive and important state legislative races in the nation.
“National Democrats are taking notice of our race and our potential to flip this seat,” Gramlich said. “I’m honored to be included in this group of incredible Democrats as we look to grow Democratic representation and shift the balance of power.”
Gramlich has been a longtime community advocate and brings with her over 16 years of experience in leadership and philanthropy in central Indiana. Currently, she serves as the President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis, a nonprofit leadership organization dedicated to helping girls realize their full potential, and has also worked in various capacities at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. She is a 2026 recipient of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s prestigious “Forty Under 40” award, which recognizes young professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and achievements in their careers, and was voted one of Indy’s Most Pivotal Leaders in 2022.
“State legislatures have become ground zero for addressing the affordability crisis, protecting our voting rights, and fighting against GOP extremism,” Gramlich said. “Now more than ever, it’s important we elect Democrats to these chambers who will listen to their constituents and work to build a better future for our state and our country.”
