Millers gets two big wins

The Noblesville boys lacrosse team won two games last Saturday.

The Millers first beat Fort Wayne Carroll 16-1. Zach McMichael led the Noblesville offense with five goals and four assists. Harrison Barnett and Hayden McCaslin both scored three goals and dished out one assist. Charlie Boe had two goals and one assist.

Brighton Kojetin, Logan White and Gage Bass all scored one goal, with White handing out two assists. Monty Atkins made one assist, and also picked up eight ground balls. McMichael collected six ground balls, while Bass had five. McMichael, Noah Reynolds and Boe all got four ground balls. Goalkeeper Thomas McAvoy made six saves.

In their second game, the Millers beat Evansville Reitz 20-2. McMichael and Boe each scored four goals, with Bass putting in three goals. Reynolds and McCaslin both scored two goals. Kojetin, White and Shep Coyne all got one goal, as did Jon York and Max Rafool; they both scored their first career goals.

McMichael had five assists, followed by McCaslin with three, Bass with two, and one each for Reynolds, White and Barnett. Atkins scooped up five ground balls, with Bass, Reynolds and McMichael all collecting four. McAvoy made three saves.

Noblesville is 8-1 and hosts Westfield tonight.
