Local Democrats announce week of town halls ahead of May 5 primary

Submitted

With the May 5 primary election fast approaching, the Hamilton County Democratic Party will hold a series of town halls to give voters the opportunity to hear directly from candidates across several key races.

This year marks a notable moment for Democrats in Hamilton County, with multiple contested primaries offering voters more choices and a stronger voice in shaping the party’s future. The upcoming town halls are designed to connect residents with candidates, provide insight into campaign priorities, and encourage informed participation in the electoral process.

“These town halls reflect the energy and momentum we’re seeing across Hamilton County,” Party Chair Josh Lowry said. “For the first time in many of these races, voters have meaningful choices in Democratic primaries, and we’re proud to provide spaces where they can hear directly from the candidates.”
