Know before you go to Westfield Rocks the 4th

Westfield’s signature Independence Day celebration, Westfield Rocks the 4th, presented by Citizens Energy Group, returns to Grand Park Sports Campus from 4 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, July 4.

The patriotic bash will feature live music, inflatables, competitive eating contests, and a spectacular drone and fireworks show beginning at 10 p.m.

Getting there

Purchase a Preferred Parking ticket to have a close, guaranteed parking space in Parking Lot G for Westfield Rocks the 4th. Limited quantities available and are only valid for Friday, July 4 from 4 to 10 p.m. All other lots indicated on the map are free and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note: Purchasing a preferred parking pass guarantees a spot in Lot G. It does not guarantee preferred entry or exit.

Main Stage Schedule

  • 5 to 7 p.m.: Jai Baker
  • 7 p.m.: National Anthem and Honor Guard Presentation of Colors
  • 7:15 p.m.: Frank’s Franks Hot Dog Eating Competition (Registration is CLOSED)
  • 8 to 10 p.m.: Jai Baker
  • 10 p.m.: Fireworks Display

Kids Stage Schedule

  • 4 to 5:30 p.m.: Mik the Music Man
  • 5:30 p.m.: Kids Watermelon Eating Contest (Registration is recommended)
  • 6:30 p.m.: Dance Innovations Performance
  • 7:30 to 8 p.m.: Magic Show
  • 8 to 10 p.m.: Mik the Music Man

Kids Zone

The Kids Zone at will feature exciting attractions and fun entertainment. Tickets are $10 each for ages 4 and up. Ages three and under are free, but a free ticket is still required. Click here to purchase tickets.

Grand Park rules

  • Grand Park Sports Campus is a smoke-free campus. There is no smoking allowed.
  • Sparklers and other fireworks are prohibited.
  • Drone usage is prohibited.
  • No animals (except service animals) beyond parking lots.
  • No skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, roller shoes, etc.

Fireworks ordinance

Can’t make it out to Westfield Rocks the 4th but still want to celebrate with fireworks? Remember that fireworks in Indiana can only be used on your own property, with permission, or at approved public sites.

Legal discharge times are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, extended to midnight on July 4. From June 29 to July 3 and July 5 to 9, they’re allowed from 5 p.m. to two hours after sunset. Violations can result in fines or higher charges if injury or damage occurs.
