Fishers Parks offers safe and family-friendly viewing options on Friday, July 4 at approximately 10 p.m.

  • Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive) – Don’t miss the special concert before the fireworks.
  • Cyntheanne Park (12383 Cyntheanne Road)
  • Geist Reservoir (view by boat or residence)

  1. Fireworks Ordinance

Per Fishers City Ordinance, fireworks are allowed within Fishers’ municipal boundaries on:

  • July 2 and 3 from 5 p.m. to two hours after sunset
  • July 4 from 10 a.m. to midnight
  • July 5 to 9 from 5 p.m. to two hours after sunset
  1. Friday trash services postponed

Trash and recycling pickup services for Friday, July 4 have been moved to Saturday, July 5.

  1. City offices closed

City offices are closed on Friday, July 4 and will reopen on Monday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m.

  1. Fireworks safety from Fishers Fire Department

Stay safe with these firework disposal steps:

  • Soak used fireworks in a bucket of water overnight to make sure they cool down.
  • After soaking, place them in a plastic bag to prevent them from drying out.
  • Put the sealed bag in your trash bin for safe disposal.
  • In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1.
