Hamilton County will illuminate the Historic Courthouse and Bridge of Flowers in downtown Noblesville green through Nov. 11 as part of Operation Green Light, a nationwide initiative to honor veterans and recognize their service and sacrifice.
The Hamilton County Parks & Recreation Department will also light signs and other features throughout its parks during the month of November.

The effort coincides with Veterans Day on Nov. 11 and serves as a visible reminder that veterans are valued, appreciated, and supported by the communities they call home.

“Our veterans have given so much in service to our country, and we want them to know their sacrifices have not been forgotten,” Hamilton County Commissioner Christine Altman said. “Lighting our buildings and landmarks green is a simple gesture, but it carries an important message. We see you, we appreciate you, and we stand with you.”
Hamilton County is encouraging residents, businesses, and community organizations to participate by replacing a single exterior light bulb with a green one or displaying a green light in a window.
Residents are encouraged to share photos of their green lights on social media using the hashtag #OperationGreenLight.
