Jack LeRoy Glover, 80, Fortville, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on October 16, 1941, to Donald and Marjorie (Abel) Glover in Mattoon, Ill.
Jack worked as an inspector for Allison Gas Turbines while serving as Fishers Fire Chief and Town Marshall. He enjoyed playing golf and poker with the boys. Most of all, Jack loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patty Glover; children, Jeff (Amy) Glover, Katherine Glover, Martha Compton, Penni (Tony) Spencer, Jason (Tiffani) Glover, and Kelly (Stephen) Tutrow; brother, Donald (Jane) Glover; grandchildren, Katie Glover, Emma Glover, Megan (Rick) Watson, Elizabeth Cook, Hannah (Rachel) Ricker, Nicholas (Megan) Compton, Allison (Matt) Compton, Brian (Mary) Stiles, Dylan (Kelcey) Stiles, Kai Byers, Hunter Glover, Lucas Glover, Madison Petrey, Kase Tutrow, Benjamin Tutrow, and Sofia Tutrow; and his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Maci, Lily, Thatcher, Jack, James, Benjamin, CJ, Adilyn, Kaliya, Will and Charlee.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, James Glover.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m., with sharing of memories at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
