Ivy Tech Community College and Helmer Scientific announced a new partnership to benefit employees in degree and certificate completion. Through its Achieve Your Degree program, Ivy Tech will provide guidance and financial assistance to any Helmer Scientific employee interested in earning a degree or certificate from the Community College.
Helmer Scientific, which is headquartered in Noblesville, offers industry-leading storage and processing laboratory products to clinical and life sciences customers in over 125 countries. The Achieve Your Degree program is open to all employees, approximately 200 in Indiana. They can pursue a degree or certificate in a variety of programs relevant to their industry, including accounting, business, IT, design technology, HVAC, industrial technology, pre-engineering, supply chain management/logistics and many more.
The Achieve Your Degree program gives Helmer Scientific employees additional support to earn valuable credentials. Through their partnership, Ivy Tech will assist the company’s employees with the college and financial aid application process, ensuring students take advantage of any financial aid opportunities for which they qualify. Onsite application assistance and academic advising are provided by Ivy Tech faculty and staff in order to accommodate busy work schedules and ensure appropriate course schedules.
