Individual boys tennis regional pairings are set

Pairings have been set for the IHSAA’s boys tennis individual regionals, which take place on Saturday.
At Kokomo, Noblesville junior Noah Bushong will play Fort Wayne Canterbury sophomore Kush Anand in one of the singles semi-finals. The other match will see NorthWood senior Ben Vincent take on Muncie Burris sophomore Charles Behrman.
In the doubles competition, the Hamilton Southeastern team of junior Andrew Spirrison and sophomore Paul Schneider play a semi-final against Huntington North seniors Noah Zahn and Thomas Schweller. The other semi-final will be contested between the Northridge team of junior Evan Nay and senior Aaron Cripe, and Mississinewa juniors Ryan Scott and Riley Fuqua.
At La Porte, Guerin Catholic senior Cole Metzger will play a semi-final singles match with Lake Central freshman Mateusz Wlodarczyk. In the other semi-final, Chesterton sophomore Fabio Haiduc will take on Manchester junior Brady Wiley.
The Westfield doubles team of junior Brett Barnes and senior Christian Emigh will play a semi-final with the Kankakee Valley team of sophomore Hayden Dase and senior Braden Misch. The other semi-final will see the La Porte team of senior Carson Stalbaum and junior Liam Wolf face off against Culver Academies seniors Nathaniel Posner and Paul Wilson.
All semi-final matches begin at 10 a.m. at both sites. The winners will play for their respective championships at 2 p.m.
