Grand Park to host Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournament

On Thursday, the City of Westfield and the Big Ten Conference announced the Grand Park Sports Campus will host the 2018 Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournament. This is the third consecutive year Westfield will play host to the men’s tournament and the second year for the women’s.
“We are excited to again host the Men’s and Women’s Big Ten Soccer Tournament at Grand Park and the fans of whichever teams make it to this elite competition,” said Westfield Mayor Andy Cook. “We are equally as excited for the thousands of soccer fans across Central Indiana who will be able to attend and experience it.”
“The Big Ten is excited to return to Grand Park for the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournament,” said Wendy Fallen, Big Ten Assistant Commissioner for Sports Administration. “Grand Park has been an excellent host for this event, and we are confident that our students and coaches will continue to have terrific experiences.”
The City of Westfield and local partners will be announcing how and when community members and organizations can get involved. Additionally, special events will be planned around both the women’s and men’s championship weekends.
“This year will be the most fan and community-focused Big Ten Tournament we have hosted,” said William Knox, Grand Park Sports Campus Director. “Our goal is to create an experience for our visitors – locally and from across the Big Ten region – that will help them show their team spirit and increase the love of soccer.”
The Big Ten Soccer Tournament kicks off with the women’s semifinal games on Friday, Nov. 2 and final game on Sunday, Nov. 4 (Game times TBD). The men’s tournament will be at Grand Park the following weekend, with the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 9 and the final game on Sunday, Nov. 11 (Game times TBD). The Big Ten Network will carry both the men’s and women’s semifinal and championship games (Nov. 2 and 4 for the women, Nov. 9 and 11 for the men).
One-day General Admission tickets will be available for purchase, presale and on-site, for $12/adults, $7/youth-student (with ID), $1/ veterans-active military. A daily Family Four Pack (two parents and children) will be available (presale only) for $24. Children 5 and under will be admitted for $1.
