A paramedic, Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard, and experienced campaign professional, Franklin brings frontline crisis leadership and public service experience to the race.

“When lives are on the line, I’ve been there,” Franklin said. “This campaign is about fighting for working families, dignity, and leadership that puts people first – not corporate interests.”

Franklin’s campaign is powered by a diverse, grassroots coalition representing voices long ignored by politics as usual.

“Our diversity isn’t a slogan – it’s our strength,” Franklin said. “We bring lived experience and real solutions to a system that has failed too many for too long.”

Running as the only committed grassroots candidate in the race, Franklin emphasized readiness to serve with courage, discipline, and compassion.

“This isn’t about ambition,” Franklin said. “It’s about duty.”

Franklin welcomed other candidates into the primary, noting that Hoosiers deserve a competitive race with qualified candidates and real choices.
