Emagine Noblesville honored on ‘Boxoffice Blue Ribbon’ list for exceptional moviegoing experiences

Emagine Entertainment’s Noblesville theater has earned a top ranking in Boxoffice Pro Magazine’s inaugural “Boxoffice Blue Ribbon” list.

The first-of-its kind list of exceptional cinemas around the globe honors excellence in technology, design, hospitality, and community engagement for cinema renovations and new builds completed since 2020. Emagine Noblesville is one of only 82 theaters from The Americas and The Caribbean to be featured on the list for the transformative renovations completed prior to its opening in 2022.

Boxoffice Pro Magazine, the reference trade publication of theatrical distribution, created the Boxoffice Blue Ribbon List to recognize theaters around the world that have set operational and presentation benchmarks after upgrading or opening new facilities over the past six years. Boxoffice Pro received over 300 submissions from new and recently renovated theaters in 45 countries which were judged by a panel of industry experts on four categories: hospitality, design, technology, and community engagement (based on geographic diversity, programming, and the theater’s role in its local community). The top theaters in each area of the world were included on the list for their commitment to delivering exceptional movie-going experiences.

Prior to opening in late 2022, Emagine Noblesville underwent a nearly year-long, extensive renovation to transform a former Goodrich Quality Theatres location into a luxury theater-going experience featuring breakthrough technology in both picture and sound. Emagine converted all 16 auditoriums to feature plush, power-heated recliners and cuddle chairs and Dolby ATMOS sound. Emagine also installed the area’s only EMX auditorium featuring a 70-by-30-foot screen and enhanced the luxury experience with premium concessions and a full bar featuring specialty cocktails.
