Duke Energy powers Sheridan, Hamilton Heights staff for last day of school

Duke Energy energized Sheridan and Hamilton Heights staff members with breakfast on the last day of school. Over 450 Titus Bakery donuts powered the teachers and staff on their final day of student instruction.

Hamilton Heights fourth-grade teacher Jill Fleming called it a sweet way to end the school year.

“Our public-school teachers are an essential part of the Hamilton County community,” said Dagny Zupin, Duke Energy Community Relations Liaison. “Celebrating the last day with donuts was just a small way for Duke Energy to show our appreciation for the continued strength and dedication of Hamilton County educators.”

    Ms. Dagny Zupin knows by first hand experience the essential role teachers play in the Hamilton County communities; her parents are educators. 4 aunts and her grandfather. The schools in the Hamilton County public school system set the standards for the entire state of Indiana. Kudos to all the educators!
