Conner Prairie has announced their outdoor grounds will close for the 2017 season on Sunday, Oct. 29. After that, The Apple Store will remain open until Oct. 31, closing at 5 p.m. that day. Hours of operation change from Nov. 1 to 30, with new hours being 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, closed Monday through Wednesday and closed Nov. 23. Indoor exhibits and play spaces will remain open during the new hours of operation.
Admission Prices
Adults, seniors ages 65 and older and youth ages 2 to 12: $8
Members and youth under age 2: Free
Group tours: Groups of 15 and more should call Guest Services at (317) 776-6000 to make reservations. The group tour rate is $7 for adults and youth ages 2 to 12. Children under age 2 are free.

Follow the North Star
6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 to 4, 9 to 11, 16 to 18
$20 for non-members, $17 for members. For ages 12 and older only; children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Follow the North Star is an award-winning, participatory museum theater experience that demonstrates the wide-ranging social attitudes toward African-Americans in pre-Civil War Indiana. Participants travel back to the year 1836 and assume the role of fugitive slaves seeking freedom on the Underground Railroad through the state. Traveling as a group, participants will encounter a variety of characters, ranging from sympathetic allies to racist antagonists. It is a powerful experience that generates empathy, provokes discussion and immerses participants in this important part of our nation’s history. Prairie Plates
This unique foodie experience for adults celebrates the farm-to-table food and craft drink movement featuring the region’s top chefs and gourmet artisans with dining experiences throughout Conner Prairie’s grounds. Ages 21 and older. Chef Jeffrey Alan Bricker and his talented students from Ivy Tech’s hospitality administration program will prepare a gourmet brunch featuring products obtained within a 100-mile radius of Conner Prairie. Before sitting down for the meal, guests will venture out to the Golden Eagle Inn in Prairietown for cider tastings and appetizers featuring Conner Prairie’s homegrown apples.
