An extraordinary, interactive introduction to some of the world’s greatest orchestral classics, specially designed for children, will be presented on Saturday, May 14 by the Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO).

CSO’s annual Family Fun Concert begins at 3 p.m. at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts, 1 Carter Green. Tickets – just $5 for youngsters and $17.50 for adults – are available now at CarmelSymphony.org or at the Palladium Fifth Third Bank Box Office by calling (317) 843-3800.

Carmel High School Senior Violinist Abigail Ko, this year’s CSO Young Artist Competition winner, will perform with the orchestra, while the Guest Conductor is Carmel High School teacher Nicole DeGuire.

During the performance, youngsters in the audience will be invited to join CSO musicians on the Palladium stage and witness musical magic up close.

Following the concert, an additional hands-on activity takes place during a Drum Circle with Resounding Joy.

Family Fun marks the end of the 2021-22 CSO season, supported by the City of Carmel, the Center for the Performing Arts, the Palladium, and Pedcor.
