Westfield Mayor Andy Cook and executives with Browning Chapman, LLC, a specialty contracting firm, announced on Tuesday the Indianapolis-based company will relocate its headquarters and warehousing facility to Westfield.

On Monday, the Westfield City Council approved a resolution granting an eight-year real property tax abatement for a new Browning Chapman headquarters in Westfield. The abatement will be phased in at 10 percent per year. The $4 million project is projected to create 110 new jobs.
The specialty contracting company is relocating its current headquarters from Crosspoint Business Park in Indianapolis. The 67,000 square-foot building will be located in Westfield’s Northpoint Business Park adjacent to the Bastian Solutions advanced manufacturing facility.
Construction is expected to begin in late summer of 2019, with a scheduled completion date of late spring of 2020.
