The IHSAA announced the pairings for the boys volleyball sectional tournament on Sunday, May 3.
Most of the Hamilton Schools will compete in Sectional 8 at Hamilton Southeastern. Action begins next Wednesday, May 13 with the first two opening-round matches: Kokomo takes on Westfield, then Noblesville plays Peru.
The other two first-round matches will be played on Thursday, May 14. The host Royals take on Carmel, then Guerin Catholic will play Fishers.
The Wednesday winners will face off in the first semifinal match on Saturday, May 16, with the Thursday winners playing the second semifinal. The championship match is set for that evening.
University will play at Sectional 9, hosted by Pike. The Trailblazers take on Park Tudor in the first match at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, with a match between Brebeuf Jesuit and North Central to follow.
Thursday, May 14 matches begin with the host Red Devils playing International at 5:30 p.m., with a contest between Bishop Chatard and MTI School of Knowledge to follow.
The Wednesday winners play the first semifinal at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, followed by the second semifinal at approximately 12:30 p.m. The championship match is set for 6 p.m.
