Boys soccer: Millers tie with Royals

The Noblesville and Hamilton Southeastern boys soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie Thursday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.

Ashton Hancock scored the Millers’ goal. Stats for HSE were unavailable at press time.

The Royals are 2-1-3 in conference play and 7-2-4 overall, while Noblesville is 2-2-2 in the league and 7-3-2 overall. Southeastern plays its next game Saturday at Perry Meridian, while the Millers play at Carmel on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

In an earlier HCC match, Noblesville beat Zionsville 1-0 on Tuesday. Brady Frayer scored the goal, with David Henriques making the assist.

Carmel was a 2-0 winner over Westfield Thursday in an all-county game at Brian Murray Stadium.

Xander Dora and Troy Enslin both scored goals for the Greyhounds, with Evan Bardos and Arjun Yardav each making one assist.

Carmel is 8-0-2 and plays tonight at Homestead. The Shamrocks are 4-6-1 and play Saturday at East Central.

Fishers beat North Central 1-0 in a Thursday home game.

Pierce Haynie scored the Tigers’ goal, with Sam Barnett making the assist.

Fishers is 8-2-3 and travels to Avon Tuesday for an HCC game.

Hamilton Heights dropped a 3-2 match to Muncie Central on Thursday.

Stats were unavailable at press time. The Huskies tied with Bishop Chatard 1-1 on Tuesday; Elliot Speckman scored the goal.

The Huskies are 5-5-1 and host their own invitational on Saturday.
