The field at Saturday’s Hall of Fame Invitational at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin was nothing short of loaded.
All of the top 13 ranked teams in the state were at the meet, including Hamilton County’s four ranked teams. In the end, No. 1-ranked Carmel won the team championship, with a team score of 295.
The Greyhounds had two players finish in the individual top 10. Michaela Headlee took fourth with a two under par 70, while Claire Swathwood was seventh by scoring 73.
Westfield, ranked No. 2 in the state, finished fourth with a 303. The Shamrocks’ Samantha Brown continued her outstanding play, winning medalist honors with a five under par 67. Addi Kooi carded a 73 to place eighth.
Fourth-ranked Noblesville finished eighth at the meet. Caroline Whallon was the low woman for the Millers with a 74. No. 8 Hamilton Southeastern placed 10th with a 327; Janelle Garcia’s 76 led the Royals. Guerin Catholic scored a 356, with Sydney Delagrange scoring a 79.
