Prevail, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for victims of crime and abuse, has announced the appointment of Tami Wanninger as its new Executive Director.
“Tami’s dedication to serving others is evident in her entire career history, which has been focused on non-profit leadership,” Board President Debbie Johnson said. “Tami’s dedication to giving back extends beyond her professional work, as she has generously given her time and expertise to numerous boards, committees, and volunteering efforts in the community. With her deep roots and strong relationships in Hamilton County, we are confident that Tami is the right leader to guide Prevail into the future.”
Wanninger is a 25-year Hamilton County resident and has spent the last 29 years at Noble, Inc. Throughout her tenure at Noble, Wanninger consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the company’s mission and values, excelling in her roles over the years. Most recently, she held the role of Assistant Vice President of Quality, Customer Service, and Regulatory Compliance.
Wanninger demonstrated her expertise in program leadership by managing high-budget initiatives. She also excelled at strategically fundraising to support the organization’s mission and spearheaded compliance efforts with federal grants. Wanninger’s contributions were instrumental in advancing Noble’s goals and ensuring its continued success.

Caroline Dutkanych, who has served as Prevail’s Interim Executive Director since Jan. 23, is a collaborative transitional leadership professional, serving central Indiana nonprofits for more than 20 years. Dutkanych will provide onboarding support as Wanninger transitions into her new leadership role.
Wanninger will begin in her new role on May 22.

Over the past 35 years, Prevail has served nearly 70,000 victims of crime and abuse in the Hamilton County community. Last year, out of almost 3,500 clients served at Prevail, 63 percent were adults, teens, and children who were victims of family violence. Domestic violence is complex. While crisis intervention is an important immediate response to domestic violence, there is a great need to raise awareness and develop effective prevention strategies.
