Southeastern’s distance crew earned a sweep: Ciara Kepner won the 800, Maggie Powers won the 1600, and Elizabeth Butler won the 3200. The 4×800 relay team of Julianne McLean, Grace Newton, Elise Herman, and Butler won that race in 9 minutes, 36.77 seconds. That is currently the fourth fastest time in the state.
The 4×400 relay of Kepner, Camryn McKinney, Addison Smith, and Chloe Senefeld also won in a time of 4:02.78 which is the fifth fastest time in the state. Addison Smith placed third in the 800 and Katie Wooden and Tori Vance placed fourth and fifth respectively in the discus.
