Carmel, Westfield and Fishers sprinters participated in the Sprinters Showcase 2023 last Friday at Lafayette Jefferson.
In the girls events, the county schools won five of the six events (there were no local teams in the 4×400 relay). The Greyhounds’ Emily Norris won the 200 dash in a new school record time of 25.09 seconds. Cambell Wamsley won the 400 dash for Carmel. Westfield’s Lucy Hauser was first in the 100 hurdles, while her teammate Princess Campbell finished the night with a victory in the 100 dash. The Tigers won the 4×100 relay.
Fishers also won the boys 4×400 relay, while Robert Seay was the winner of the 100 dash.
