September 21, 1954 – August 20, 2022
Lowell Clyde Adams, 67, Westfield, passed away on August 20, 2022, at his home. He was born on September 21, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to John and Daisy (Arnold) Adams.
He graduated from Tampa Bay Vocational Technical High School with the Class of 1972. This led him to working in construction. He had worked as the general manager at Wood Truss Manufacturing in Westfield for over 20 years.
He married the love of his life, Carolyn Sue (Lambert) Adams, on December 28, 1974, and they were blessed with two sons, Kevin and Erik. They fondly remembered their dad coaching Westfield Little League Teams and that he never missed any of their football games.
Lowell was a man of faith and greatly enjoyed studying the Bible. He loved his wife and family and would light up the room when his grandkids visited. They looked forward to grandpa taking them for rides on his tractor. And he gave them all sincere “bear hugs.”
Leisure time would find Lowell target shooting, fishing, or carving and whittling wood.
He was a member of Mt. Runn Baptist Church in Zionsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Adams; his parents; and a brother, Dana Adams.
Surviving him are his sons and their wives, Kevin (Julie) Adams of Noblesville and Erik (Melissa) Adams of Westfield; brother, Mick Oliver of South Carolina; sisters, Phyllis Konitzer of Florida and Rebecca Mason of Mississippi; plus five grandchildren, Travis, Tiffany, Nicole, Makenna and Kaitlyn Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, with burial to follow at Cicero Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from noon until time of services.
