The Westfield Washington Public Library (WWPL) has launched a new website.
“It’s been more than a decade since we last updated the website,” WWPL Director Sheryl Sollars said. “It desperately needed a refresh. We wanted something a bit cleaner, more relevant, and sophisticated. It will also be a lot easier for our staff to edit and update.”
Kristin Pruis, a brand strategist and designer, led the redesign effort which also includes a new brand with a fresh logo, color palette, and fonts.
“The old website was a bit cumbersome,” Pruis said. “The new website offers a more modern user experience which should allow users to access programs, catalogues, and databases easier.”
The new website – wwpl.lib.in.us – will also offer a page dedicated to construction of the new library at the southwest corner of Westfield Boulevard and Park Street. Groundbreaking on the new library could happen late this summer or early fall. Construction of the new website was funded in part through the American Rescue Plan Act.
