Barton “Bart” Turner, 54, Westfield, passed away on January 28, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1967, in Logansport, Ind., son of Charles and Mary Ellen (Grant) Turner.
Bart was a 1986 graduate of Logansport High School. Following high school graduation, Bart attended Culver Summer School. He was also a 1990 graduate of Anderson University and later received his master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He continued his education in the Indiana Police Academy.
During Bart’s working years, he worked at ML Ferris Investigations, Culver Summer School-Boy Scout Program, and Kokomo Police Department. Also, as a Cass County Juvenile Probation Officer, the TSA, and most recently, DFAS, Department Finance and Accounting Service.
Bart was preceded in death by grandparents; and biological parents, Karen (Ferris) Goodman and Dennis Ferris.
Survivors include parents, Charles and Mary Ellen; wife, Sheri; children, Noah, Elijah, and Kayleigh; stepchildren, Conner and Gabriel; sisters, Angela, Heather (Bobby), Heidi (Andy), and Hannah (Jarred); and brothers, Travis (Sheri) and Tim (Ashley).
Family and friends will gather from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Christ United Methodist Church, Westfield, where the Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 5.
