Dear Editor:
Having lived in Noblesville for over a decade, I am used to the White River occasionally flowing over its banks – but nothing prepared me for the recent flooding! It is a reminder that even the solid ground we count on can give way beneath us.
In the wake of recent flooding across our area, many of us have been asking bigger questions than usual: what actually holds when the unexpected hits, and where can real hope, peace, and purpose be found?
That’s exactly the conversation Noblesville’s Living Branch Church is inviting you to join this September with Hope Explored, a relaxed, three-week series for anyone curious about life’s bigger questions and the hope many have found in Christianity.
Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, finding your way back, or simply looking for an honest place to ask bigger questions, you’re welcome exactly as you are. No pressure, no expectations, just good food, good company, and open conversation.

These days hope often feels hard to come by. But real hope is what the Christian faith claims to offer: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.
After a season that has tested our community’s resilience, this is a chance to slow down, sit with neighbors old and new, and explore what it might look like to find hope that doesn’t wash away.
