On Saturday, July 25, Folds of Honor Indiana and The Bridgewater Club held their second annual charity golf and sports outing for members of The Club.

The purpose of the outing is to raise awareness and funds to further Folds of Honor’s mission to provide scholarships for Hoosier spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members and first responders.

This year’s outing raised over $129,000 for Folds of Honor Indiana scholarship recipients.

New this year, the fundraising outing expanded to a two-day event, with a cocktail reception on Friday, July 24, giving attendees the opportunity to meet and mingle with service members, veterans, and Folds of Honor Indiana scholarship recipients.

The fundraising tournament also grew to include court sports, giving members the option to play pickleball or tennis. Patriotic festivities took place throughout the day, including a static helicopter display from the Columbus Indiana Huey and a Civil War Cannon Firing for every $5,000 donation.
