Westfield’s brand-new wedding and event venue, Westwood Vowery and Estate, 18342 Spring Mill Road, celebrated its grand opening party on April 25, ushering in a new era of hospitality to Indiana.
In partnership with more than 30 local industry professionals and a handful of notable sponsors, Westwood hosted 750 of the area’s best-dressed guests at Westwood’s iconic debut, featuring inventive cuisine and drink, immersive installations, stunning photo ops, dynamic music offerings with multiple DJs, strings, and a jazz live band, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and the public’s very first look at Westwood’s estate, fully finished.
“After a weekend of celebration, we begin the next chapter together: one where years of vision and building finally come to life through client service and joy-filled events,” Westwood Owner Shelby Dempsey said.
The party was attended by the notable faces from our community and beyond, likes of Indiana influencers: Chandler Dehart, Samantha Miller, Stephanie Payette, Julia Crist, Brooke Magdzinski, Kelsey Vickery, Ellery Rogers, Indiana’s top wedding planners: Monica Richard of Mon Amie Events, and Gene Huddleson of Detail + Design, Zachary Reeder of Tailored Society, Danielle Rose of Wed Society, and Westfield Mayor Scott Willis.

“It’s a great opportunity not only for our residents, but this kind of venue will draw in weddings from all over the central Indiana area,” Mayor Willis said. “I think it will be a tourism component for Westfield.”
Westwood’s Grand Opening Party benefited an annual education fund designed to support and empower the next generation of hospitality professionals by supporting two Westfield graduates through secondary schooling. Westwood’s Hospitality and Leadership Scholarship was created alongside Westfield Education Fund.
Brought to life alongside krM Architecture and Fairmont Construction, Westwood Vowery and Estate is set to host some of life’s greatest moments and is committed to creating legacy experiences. The first event after the Grand Opening Party was the Westfield Mayor’s Gala on Friday, May 1, followed by a heavily booked season of weddings and special events.
Westwood extends gratitude to valued sponsors: Fairmont Construction, The Wedding Studio, Pella Windows & Doors of Central Indiana, North Salem State Bank, Premier Group, Lux Lab Hair & Body, and Minky Couture, through whom the Grand Opening Party was made possible.
