The Indy Ignite scored a huge win on Friday, May 1, edging out the Columbus Fury in five sets.
The set scores were 25-22, 20-25, 18-25, 25-18, 15-13. Four players reached double digit in kills, starting with Emoni Bush hitting 20. Taylor Landfair put down 13 kills, while Camryn Hannah and Cara Cresse each hit 10.
Emma Halter led the defense with 20 digs, while Ainise Havili collected 15 digs and also handed out 49 assists. Hannah made 11 digs.
The Ignite won again Sunday, May 3, beating the San Diego Mojo in four sets, 22-25, 25-13, 30-28, 25-17.
Azhani Tealer led the offense with 18 kills, followed by 14 for Anna DeBeer, 13 for Leketor Member-Meneh and 11 for Jaelyn Keene. Mia Tuaniga dished out 49 assists.
Elena Scott collected 16 digs, followed by Tuaniga with 14, Member-Meneh with 13 and DeBeer with 10. Lydia Martyn made three blocks.
The Ignite are 23-5 and travel to Omaha’s Comerica Center on Thursday to finish the regular season against the Omaha Supernovas.
