Universal Cares is calling on local businesses, community groups, and residents to step up to the plate by registering teams and becoming sponsors for its upcoming Softball Slamfest, taking place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at Morse Park & Beach Softball Fields, 19777 Morse Park Lane, Noblesville.
This community-driven event is more than just a morning of softball – it is a critical fundraiser that helps Universal Cares continue its work serving families across Indiana. Proceeds from the event will directly support the organization’s Back-to-School Drive, providing essential items such as backpacks, headphones, tissues, cleaning wipes, and hand sanitizer to students in need.
With planning underway, organizers say team registrations and local sponsorships are essential to making the event a success and sustaining the nonprofit’s outreach efforts throughout the year.
“Events like Softball Slamfest allow us to meet real needs in our community,” said Jill Hinds of Universal Cares. “But we can’t do it without teams on the field and sponsors who believe in what we do. Their support truly makes the difference.”
Universal Cares invites businesses to partner as sponsors for visibility at the event while supporting a meaningful cause. Community members are also encouraged to gather a team, participate, or attend to show their support.
