Noblesville dropped a Monday game to Class 1A No. 3 Rossville 3-2 at Don Dunker Field.
The Hornets scored all three of their runs in the first inning. Blake Riggs scored for the Millers in the second inning on Ryan Ruse’s sacrifice fly. Riggs scored Aiden Reynolds in the fifth inning with another sacrifice fly.
Noblesville was held to two hits, a triple from Slade Hodges and a single by Reynolds. Riggs pitched four innings, striking out four and allowing one hit.
The Millers are 6-6 and travel to Franklin Central on Thursday to begin a Hoosier Crossroads Conference series.

Sheridan dropped a 10-0, six-inning game at Northwestern on Monday.
The Tigers held the Blackhawks to one-hit, a double from Levi Gellert.
Sheridan is 3-5 and plays a Hoosier Heartland Conference game at Carroll on Wednesday
