The Hamilton Heights Huskies headed north to Bunker Hill to face Maconaquah in a non-conference battle on Friday, April 17.

Heights was unable to manage a hit against Braves’ pitcher Deven Mitchell and were shut out on the road, 4-0.

Maconaquah scored one run each in the first through third and fifth innings. That’s all that was needed in taking down the Huskies.

In seven innings of work, Mitchell no-hit Heights, struck out 10 batters and gave up just three walks.

Owen Hughes would also send down 10 Braves via the strikeout, but he allowed seven hits and four runs (all earned) in 5.2 frames on the mound.

Hamilton Heights (3-5) gets a break before getting back to Hoosier Conference action on Tuesday at home versus Tipton at 5:30 p.m.
