Dustin Dixon, candidate for Hamilton County Sheriff, announced last Friday, April 3 the endorsement of seven of eight Republican Carmel City Council members: President Matt Snyder, Vice President Ryan Locke, At-Large Councilor Jeff Worrell, Adam Aasen, Teresa Ayers, Tony Green, and Shannon Minnaar.

In a joint statement, the council members emphasized their shared commitment to public safety:

“Our community deserves leadership that prioritizes the safety of every resident and visitor and supports the men and women who serve to protect us. We are proud to endorse Dustin Dixon for Hamilton County Sheriff. His experience, integrity, and dedication make him the right choice to ensure Hamilton County remains one of the safest places to live in Indiana.”

The endorsement adds to Dixon’s growing support across Hamilton County, including the first-ever unanimous backing from all four county Fraternal Order of Police lodges, along with endorsements from Carmel Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 185 and Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam.
