Rewarded for giving readers the scoop on Graeter’s ice cream shop in Fishers

Noblesville attorney and Reporter Owner Ray Adler and members of his staff, Paralegal Andrea Hodgin, Receptionist Alli Weyer, and Paralegal Kathi Harrison, grabbed pints of their flavors of choice. Thanks, Graeter’s! (Reporter photo)

Regular readers of The Hamilton County Reporter will recall that Graeter’s Ice Cream, America’s oldest family-owned and operated craft ice cream maker, held a grand opening event on Wednesday, March 25 in celebration of its new scoop shop in Fishers at 8699 E. 106th St.

This newspaper is always pleased to help spread the word about new businesses, and we did so as a community service. The fine folks at Graeter’s then reached out to our publisher with an offer that was just too sweet to pass up: free ice cream for the people in the office!

Unwilling to put the Stu back into stupid, Reporter Publisher Stu Clampitt agreed, and on this page you can see some of the happy faces gathered around Reporter Owner Ray Adler’s desk after 12 tasty pints arrived at the office.

Greater’s Fishers location features dine-in seating, an enclosed patio area, and the brand’s full menu of ice cream, frozen drinks, sundaes, and other irresistible treats.

As the fifth Graeter’s location in Indiana, this store joins those in Butler-Tarkington, Carmel, Westfield, and the Fishers Ambleside Drive location. This scoop shop is conveniently located just off Interstate 69, effectively expanding Graeter’s footprint to reach more ice cream fans and residents in the Indianapolis area.

Hours of operation for this new Graeter’s Scoop Shop at Lantern Road are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
