Organization recognized for excellence in marketing & sports
The Indiana Tourism Association (ITA) presented Hamilton County Tourism with four Indiana Tourism Awards during its 2026 conference in Indianapolis. A panel of out-of-state judges selected winners based on creativity, innovation, and maximization of budget. A total of 141 entries were received across 30 categories.
First, Hamilton County Tourism won Best Culinary-Focused Marketing Campaign for Around the Table. This digital initiative featured video spotlights of local restaurants and received over one million impressions during the monthlong marketing push to promote Hamilton County’s growing culinary scene.
The HamCo Hubway received recognition for Best Digital Marketing Campaign. The trail-focused campaign drove measurable visitation growth, boosting overall trail use and contributing to more than 300,000 attributable visits.
Next, the Visit Hamilton County website won Best Website for its success in design, interactivity and copywriting, among other attributes. The refreshed website saw a 16.7 percent year-over-year increase in new users, demonstrating a growing awareness of Hamilton County as a destination.
Finally, Hamilton County Sports Authority secured the award for Best Event for hosting LIV Golf Indianapolis and supporting its success at The Club at Chatham Hills in August 2025. This event set an attendance record for LIV Golf’s United States tournaments.
