The Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP) needs your help sending local youth to camp this summer.
WYAP works to connect as many youth as possible with summer camp opportunities, knowing that summer camp can be an empowering and life-changing experience for youth. Many of the youth connected with camps need help obtaining necessary camp supplies. These supplies range from smaller items like sunscreen and bug spray to larger items like sleeping bags and duffels.
From one WYAP youth: “Camp was so much fun! I didn’t want to leave, but I did want to see my mom every day, or I would have lived there! At camp, I learned a lot about horses. I got to feed them, brush them, and wash them. But the best part was riding them!”
In 2025, WYAP connected youth with 320 unique camp and enrichment opportunities. These connections are all made possible thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and partner agencies.
The deadline for camp supplies is TODAY, Tuesday, March 10 in order to ensure the items arrive with plenty of time before Westfield youth attend camp. To support WYAP by purchasing camp supplies, please visit the Amazon Wishlist.
