Terry Elaine Morris

March 5, 1954 – October 11, 2025

Terry Elaine Morris, beloved wife and mother, entered eternal rest at her residence in Arcadia on October 11, 2025; she was 71 years old.

Terry’s journey began March 5, 1954, when she was born in New Castle to Clarence and Judy Williams. On September 22, 1972, she married the love of her life, Dan Morris, and they spent the next 53 years building a home and a family together. Terry also enjoyed a fulfilling career working for Hallmark.

Supportive and sensitive, Terry was the very essence of care and love. She was a woman defined by generosity, constantly putting others first and doing everything within her power to brighten their day. While this was true of everyone around her, nowhere was it more evident than with her family, who were always at the center of her heart. Creating and sharing special moments with her loved ones is where Terry found her greatest joy, particularly at Christmas, which was her favorite time of year. She was also a passionate fan of the Hamilton Heights Huskies, and never missed the chance to cheer on her granddaughters when they were competing. In her spare time, Terry enjoyed reading and diamond art, and she was quite successful as a Bingo player. Her presence will be greatly missed, and her family will continue to cherish her memory.

Terry is survived by her husband, Dan, and her two sons, Troy (Jackie Hayden) Morris and Patrick (Leslie) Morris. She is also survived by two brothers, Randy and Bo Williams; many nieces and nephews; and her bonus grandchildren, Kaylee, Kamryn, Hayden, Jordyn, and Charley.

Along with her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her sisters, Lisa Williams and Tracy Miller.

Final care for Terry has been entrusted to Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Home of Cicero, and her services are scheduled for Friday, October 17, at the funeral home. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.; a funeral ceremony officiated by Pastor Clint Flanders will begin at 1 p.m. Immediately following the funeral, Terry will be laid to rest at Arcadia Church of the Brethren Cemetery after a brief committal service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the Hamilton Heights High School girls volleyball, basketball, or softball teams. Donations can be made at the funeral home during Terry’s services or mailed to Hamilton Heights High School Athletics, Attn: Kurt Ogden c/o Terry Morris, 25802 State Road 19, Arcadia, IN 46030.

The family and Hartley-Dunnichay encourage all who knew Terry to share their condolences and memories on her Remember Page at hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
