Cherita Ann Kittinger, passed away on September 6, 2025. Born on December 6, 1940, in Noblesville, Cherita lived a spirited life filled with compassion and thoughtfulness. She was always reliable, a trait that endeared her to many. She was a devoted mother, a trusted sister, and a beloved grandmother.

Cherita found her calling in the restaurant industry, where she worked diligently as a cook until her retirement. She brought the same level of dedication and warmth to her work as she did to her family life. She was a member of The Noblesville Moose Lodge and was always a fun presence to be around. Her love for life was evident in her hobbies. Cherita loved jewelry, attending festivals, and going for joyrides. She took delight in playing Bingo, basking in the sun, and enjoyed her memorable trip to Brown County. Her compassionate nature extended towards animals, which she greatly adored.

Cherita is survived by her sons, John, Ronald, Donald, and Bob Kittinger; her daughter, Pam Schafer; her sister, Dorcas Crider; her brother, Joe Trout; and several caring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Kittinger; parents, Bob and Sarah Trout; her son, Tim Junior Jester; and her sisters, Beth Yeary and Norma Fletcher.
