Executive Director, Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank
Our community came together once again! Saturday, May 31 was the ninth year of Pack the Cruiser. This annual event supports Hamilton County Summer lunch programs.
Thank you to the nine Kroger stores across Hamilton County, including their management teams and store personnel, for helping make this year’s event successful. The donations for the summer lunch programs across multiple school districts totaled more than 15,500 pounds of food and $6,971 was donated.
This event would not have been possible without the coordination and support of the following law enforcement organizations: Carmel Police Department, Fishers Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff Department, Noblesville Police Department, and Westfield Police Department.
Thank you to the officers who joined the many volunteers who helped with this once-a-year food drive.
Donate today and find out how to volunteer at HCHfoodbank.org.
“Double Match Day” this Saturday at Meijer
Meijer Simply Give Double Match Day is this Saturday, June 14. Just head to either of the two Noblesville Meijer and you can help feed hungry neighbors in Hamilton County.
At the checkout, you can add a $10 donation to your total bill. This donation will be matched and Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank (HCHFB) will receive $30 back in Meijer Food Cards.
This is the best way to make the biggest impact for those in need. HCHFB uses these cards to purchase food for partner pantries within Hamilton County.
Help HCHFB reach its goal of $60,000 this Saturday.
