Clay Terrace announces first Summer Music Festival

Clay Terrace in Carmel has announced the transformation of its summer concert series into the Summer Music Festival, scheduled for 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 21.

This one-day celebration will take place at the Village Green near Dick’s Sporting Goods and along the Southbound Clay Terrace Boulevard driving lane.

The shift to a concentrated one-day music festival format comes as Clay Terrace makes room for redevelopment plans that will soon enhance the shopping center experience. While construction preparations limit the traditional multi-event summer series, this festival preserves the vibrant atmosphere that the community has come to love while showcasing what’s to come.

“We’re thrilled to elevate our traditional summer concert into a full-fledged festival experience while making way for our property improvements,” Clay Terrace General Manager Jennifer Hillman said. “This event represents our commitment to creating memorable community gatherings while showcasing the wonderful retailers, restaurants, boutiques and service providers currently at Clay Terrace.”

Event Schedule

• 4 to 4:45 p.m.: Pre-performances on the side stage
• 5 to 6:45 p.m.: Barometer Soup (Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band) on main stage
• 7 to 9 p.m.: 45 RPM (British Invasion, ‘60s Rock & Roll) on main stage

Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities including bounce houses and slides, mini golf, a photo booth, balloon twisters, and face painters. The festival will also feature a beer and wine bar for guests 21 and older, along with food options from Clay Terrace restaurants and local food trucks.

Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs to the Village Green. Well-behaved pets on leashes are also permitted to attend. Please note that outside beverages are not allowed, as refreshments will be available for purchase on-site.
