John Simmonds hired as Carmel girls soccer coach

Carmel High School has hired John Simmonds as the Greyhounds’ new girls soccer coach.

The announcement was made Thursday afternoon on Carmel’s X (formerly Twitter) account. Simmonds has coached at Park Tudor the previous six years, leading the Panthers to three Class 1A state championships in 2019, 2022 and 2023.

Park Tudor was also the 1A runner-up in 2020. Simmonds compiled a record of 88-14-3 during his six seasons with the Panthers.
