Carmel was stunned by a fast start from Lawrence North on Thursday, and that propelled the Wildcats to a 61-37 win over the visiting Greyhounds.
Lawrence North led 19-4 after the first quarter, then extended its lead to 37-14 at halftime. Carmel played even with the Wildcats in the second half, but was unable to gain ground on LN.
Liam Mann finished with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds for the ‘Hounds.
Carmel is 9-8 and hosts Hamilton Southeastern on Friday.
