The Hamilton Heights girls basketball team fell to Delta 63-37 in the first round of Class 3A Sectional 24 Tuesday at Connersville.
The Huskies stayed close with the Eagles in the first quarter, with Delta leading 14-10. But the Eagles outscored Heights 33-9 in the second period for a 47-19 halftime lead.
Senior Katie Brown led the Huskies with 20 points. Kamryn Rhoton collected 11 rebounds; both she and Presley Cherry scored seven points each.
Heights finished its season with a 5-17 record.
