The Huskies got another victory last Saturday, beating Blackford on the road 48-29. Heights jumped out to a 12-3 lead after one quarter, then went up 28-15 by halftime. The Huskies sealed the game with a 13-6 third quarter for a 41-21 lead.
Brown scored 19 points and made five steals. Sherrill added 13 points and collected five rebounds, while Abi Hilfiker had nine points and nine rebounds. Haley Barr pulled five rebounds.
The Huskies are 3-10 for the season and play in a one-day tournament at Waldron Friday. Heights takes on Union County in a first-round game at noon, following the opener between Franklin County and Waldron. The consolation and championship games both take place at 4 p.m.
