Alvin Eugene Linville

January 14, 1948 – December 4, 2024

Alvin Eugene Linville, 76, Fortville, formerly of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 14, 1948, to Clyde and Lois (Moore) Linville in Iron City, Tenn.

Al was a graduate of Noblesville High School where he played basketball for the Millers. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring after 21 years as a Senior Master Sergeant. Al then worked for 15 years as a mechanic for United Airlines. He attended St. John Vianney Catholic Church and enjoyed doing projects around the house. Al liked watching The Voice, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy!, and followed the San Francisco 49ers and college basketball. He was a prankster and jokester who enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, and getting together with his family.

Al is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marilou Linville; daughters, Jennifer Linville, Jackie Linville, and Dakota Linville; stepdaughter, Melissa (Laura) Morados; step-son, Brian Morados; three grandchildren, Alex (Justine) Kardad, Jannah Kardad, and Laila Kardad; one great-grandson, Keegan Kardad; brothers, Don Linville, David (Elvira) Linville, and Larry (Kathy) Linville; sister, Barbara (Ed) Lacharite; step-brothers, Gary Linville and Ricky Linville; as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aminah Kardad; brothers, Paul Linville and Herbie Linville; sisters, Sandy Oliver, Diane Linville, Betty Marchetti, and Shirley Burnell; and his stepbrother, Lee Linville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., with services at 7 p.m., on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville.
