The Ascension St. Vincent YMCA in Westfield is slated to open at noon on Jan. 4, 2025, following the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Located adjacent to the existing Westfield Washington Schools natatorium on 10 acres of land donated by the Wheeler family at 874 Virginia Rose Ave., the 54,000 square-foot Ascension St. Vincent YMCA in Westfield will feature:
- Gymnasium for court sports
- Free weights and cardio equipment
- Three studios offering Group Ex, Cycle, and Yoga classes
- Indoor track
- Teaching kitchen
- Play and Learn childcare area
- Community gathering spaces
- Chapel/reflection room
- Collegiate partnerships spaces for continuing education classes
- Intergenerational room
Grand opening festivities at the Ascension St. Vincent YMCA in Westfield include:

- Media Sneak Peek, Jan. 2, 9 a.m.
- Charter Member Day, Jan. 2, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Donor Appreciation Night, Jan. 3, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Ribbon Cutting, Jan. 4, 11 a.m.

Transformative gifts for this new YMCA have already been committed from Ascension St. Vincent, the City of Westfield and the Hamilton County commissioners. The YMCA is in the final fundraising stages for this community amenity, and naming opportunities are available.
