Noblesville Schools Superintendent Dr. Daniel G. Hile presented his annual State of the Schools address Wednesday at the Noblesville Schools Community Center. The event was hosted by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce.
Hile’s presentation noted several achievements for the district including:
- National recognition for STEM for the seventh year in a row
- National recognition for music education for the 10th year in a row
- Awarded No. 18 best midsize employer in the nation by Forbes Magazine
- Top S&P financial rating among Indiana school districts
- Top 4 percent SAT scores and top 10 percent ILEARN scores
- The NHS Class of 2024 had a 98 percent graduation rate and earned over $5 million in scholarships
Hile also shared updates about new district initiatives including:
- Noblesville Schools strategic plan
- Noblesville Schools Hall of Fame
- Construction projects at the high school
- Adult education initiative
- Expanded workforce development initiatives including a new partnership with IU Kokomo, and courses in aviation, construction trades, and welding
- Teacher mentoring and other staff support enhancements
- Updated science curriculum
Regarding finances, Hile reported that the school’s tax rate has decreased for the sixth year in a row and the 2025 budget maintains strong reserves and continues to pay off debt at an aggressive pace.
The address also touched on the district’s strong community partnerships, student and staff recognitions, mental health services, multilingual learners, and the recent community survey.
School board president Christi Crosser introduced Hile at the event, praising his recent accomplishments including training as an executive coach through Harvard University, graduation from the American Association of School Administrators National Superintendent Certification Program, and service as the Vice President of the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents.
Guests at the luncheon enjoyed music performed by NHS jazz students, a robotics demonstration, and a photo booth with the Miller Man mascot.
